PUBLIC OPINION -There is a new problem for people who is using credit card on the whole part of the world , it is because of death from Uniting Nations Secretary General (UN), Irzen Okta. The cause of his death is about Debt collector who are outsourcing debt collection from Citibank. It is not a secret anymore that Debt collector often acting out line. They sometimes do their job hardly to get the money from the debtors.
Yet this problem is actually not just from credit card issuer or bank, however the customer also take a part of using credit card unresponsibly. It must be considered that a credit card is not tool for debt or amount some money, because of the main function of credit card is to make easier in transaction. Every using credit card the customer should be realize that there is responsibility to paid off, if it does not do as soon as possible, the interest will be increased each month and the debt will be amount
Regarding the incidence of death of credit card customers of Citibank, Bank Indonesia Bureau Chief Public Relations Difi A Johansyah on Monday (04/04/2011) and said it would review the implementation of the rules of the use of third party services, and expect the current banking to improve customer protection also in addition to chasing the target achievement.
